The company NN Steel, s.r.o., ID No.: 260 11 905 with registered office at Batňovice 269, 542 32 Úpice (hereinafter referred to as the „Company“) discloses, in accordance with Section 9, paragraph 2, letter b) of Act No. 171/2023 Coll., on Whistleblower Protection (hereinafter referred to as the „Act“), information about the possible filing of a report of its reasonable suspicion of conduct that may be in violation of general legal regulations or binding internal standards and that:
a) has the elements of a crime,
b) has the characteristics of a misdemeanour for which the law sets the rate of fine, the upper limit of
which is at least CZK 100 thousand,
c) violates the Act, or
d) violates another legal regulation or a regulation of the European Union in the areas listed in the Act.
Natural persons who can make notifications of possible unlawful activity under the above-mentioned Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU):
a) dependent activity,
b) service
c) self-employment,
d) the exercise of rights associated with participation in a legal entity,
e) performance of the functions of a member of a body of a legal person,
f) the performance of tasks within the scoupe of the activities of the legal entity, in its interest, on its behalf or
on its account,
g) administration of the trust fund,
h) volunteering,
i) professional practice, internship,
j) the exercise of rights and obligations arising from a contract the subject of which is the provision
of supplies, services, construction work or other similar performance,
k) applying for a job or similar activity.
NN Steel, s.r.o. undertakes to protect the whistleblower from negative consequences, except in cases where the submission was not made in good faith, or where knowingly false or misleading information was used, or where the whistleblower themselves were involved in illegal or unethical conduct. Knowingly false reporting is an offence under the Act, punishable by a fine of up to CZK 50,000.
The notification must contain information that serves to identify the persons (name and surname, date of birth, etc.). Anonymous notifications are accepted but dealt with according to the severity of the notification.
The notification can be made to the competent person, who is Simona Turečková or, in her absence, Lenka Farská.

The whistleblower may also submit his/her notification through the external notification system established by the Ministry of Justice.
